Pokémon Blog or Something : Shitty Gen XVIII Speculation, pre-Gen VIII

Gen XVIII:

Console: Tentatively Nintendo Switch's fifth successor. As Switch's fate as a handheld remains dubious, I am going to put this as tentative.
Year: 2049-2050. 2049 is if Switch is released in 2017. 2050 is if Nintendo has a real successor to 3DS in 2018.
Location basis: From most likely to least likely:

Austria: Last major Nintendo region. Austria should become a major economic power at this point.
Norway: One of the last Nintendo regions. Norway should start to become important at this point.
Scotland: IDK it should be independent by now.
Romania: It is going to be a major economic power, but it is far too communist for the glorious Japanese Empire.

Dex structure. Either around 65 Pokémon and 35 new forms, or a 90-100 new species. There will almost certainly going to be new means of providing de-facto evolutions, whether they are new forms or something else, as this an even generation.
New field move: New elemental field moves after this point should be based off associated types rather than individual types. This should change metagame drastically, making several types great through this association.
Less forms, more variants:At this point onward, species with existing form changes should have more forms in addition to existing ones, similar to Digimon's recolors.
Anything else?:Fishing mechanics should be streamlined, with fishing now being done in menu. Various fishing rods should be abolished, as they sort of already have. This should lead to high amounts of non-Water fishing rod Pokémon.
