Enemies of these races either oppose each other or just attack the player. While Virus is Dark-Chaos-aligned, Vaccine is Dark-Neutral-aligned.
  3. Kugutsu: Kugutsu (傀儡?, lit. "Puppet") is a race in Giten Megami Tensei: Tokyo Mokushiroku.
Other:
  1. Zoma: Zōma (造魔, demon structure or artificial demon) is a race of artificially created demons that appear in the Devil Summoner series, some of which only show up as nonfusable bosses. Demons of this race are Neutral aligned and vary between Dark and Light.
  2. Fake: Fake (偽人, Nise Hito, "Pseudo-human") is a race of 3 special, password-only demons in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. They can not be used in fusion.
  3. Famed: Famed (英傑, Eiketsu) is a non-standard race unique to Shin Megami Tensei IV. Unusually, all of its demons can only be created via special fusion or fusion accident. Famed race comprises mostly demons from the Hero and General races with few exceptions. Like Hero demons, most Famed demons are real honored or canonized figures in the history. They all null Light and Dark.
  4. Nymph: Nymph (天女, Ten'nyo, Heaven Maid) is a race of demons introduced in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. It act as an intermediate class of Megami and Yoma races. This race is not yet officially placed under any species due to its late introduction to the series. All Nymphs are Neutral-Law aligned.
  5. Food: Food (フード, Fūdo) is a race appearing in Shin Megami Tensei IV. This race is mostly formed by the demons of the UMA race from Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. This race can be used in Fusion as normal, but is unable to be fused outside of Element ranking or fusion accidents. The etymology of the race is not very clear, but most of these demons have some sort of property relating to food; Mamedanuki's presence improves the quality of liquor, people possessed by Kuda are compelled to eat raw miso, and both Onmoraki and Katakirauwa are edible.
  6. Ghost: Ghost (怨霊 Onryō, literally, "Vengeful Ghost") is a boss race in Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner. Most of them are the souls of people that committed suicide due to their bad life, and now seek vengeance upon the living. They will attack the player when he gets to the place where they killed themselves. Their alignment is Dark-Chaos.

Digimon:

In Digimon series, there are actually three major classifications, type, which is similar to Pokémon Species, attribute, which is similar to Egg Group,  and Family/Species, which is the closest thing to Pokémon types.

These Species are;

Nature Spirits family, which correlates to Beast species.
Deep Savers family, which correlates to Aquan species.
Nightmare Soldiers family, which correlates to Dark species.
Wind Guardians family, which correlates to Bird species.
Metal Empire family, which correlates to Machine species.
Virus Busters family, which correlates to Holy species.
Dragon's Roar family, which correlates to Dragon species.
Jungle Troopers family, which correlates to Insect-Plant species.

In most cases, they are associated with specific Elemental types. Most obvious of these classifications can be found in DS games, most specifically Dawn and Dusk, which are based off standard Pokémon games. Using gamefaqs guide, we have the following elements;

Holy species -/Light element
Dark species--/Darkness element
Dragon species---/Fire element
Bird species---/Wind element
Beast species--/Earth element
Insect/Plant species--/Electricity element
Machine species---/Metal element
Aquan species--/Water element

Final Fantasy:

The other ones are:

Final Fantasy Dia
Final Fantasy II Body - Death - Matter - Mind
Final Fantasy IV Throw
Compilation of Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy VII Cut - Gravity - Hidden - Hit - Punch - Restorative - Shoot - Shout
Before Crisis -Final Fantasy VII- Comet
Final Fantasy X-2 Gravity
Final Fantasy XIII Physical - Magical
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time Spacetime - Stun
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest Axe - Bomb - Damage - Drain - Zombie
Final Fantasy Legend II Weapon

The descriptions are as follows:

Physical (element)
Physical is an element that appears in Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest and The Final Fantasy Legend subseries for the Game Boy and it was known as both Weapon and Damage. It is one of two basic elements in Final Fantasy XIII, the other being Magic. In the games that this element appears, all physical attacks fall under this element including all damage caused by weapons and special physical attack skills. Usually, the spell Protect can reduce the damage received from physical attacks.

 Magical (element)
An element exclusive to Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, it is one of two basic elements along side of Physical. The Magic element applies to all spells which fall into categories such as Medic's restoration magic spells and Ravager's offensive magic spells. The spell that can reduce the damage received, as well as also reduces potency of received healing through magic, is Shell.

Game-specific
Dia
In the original Famicom/NES versions, Dia does not function as an element. Instead, the spell is scripted to check whether the target has the Undead type. If so, it deals non-elemental damage to the target, otherwise, it has no effect.

Dia is, however, listed as an elemental weakness in the Bestiary in some remakes, including Dawn of Souls.

Status
This element seems to be used by status-inflicting spells which don't fit into any other category, including the Sleep, Blind, Slow, Hold, Confuse, Sleepra, Slowra, Stun, Blind, Mute and Fear spells and various enemy abilities. Resistance is provided by the NulDeath and NulAll spells and Ribbons.

Poison/Stone
This element is used by abilities associated with poison and/or petrification, including the Scourge and Break spells and various enemy abilities. Resistance is provided by the NulAll spell, the Aegis Shield and Ribbons.

Time
This element is used by abilities associated with space and / or time, including the Stop and Warp spells and various enemy abilities. Resistance is provided by the NulAll spell, the Black Robe and Ribbons.

Body
An element exclusive to Final Fantasy II, and the rarest of the status elements. It involves movement of a character, and the spells Blind, Silence, Slow, and Stun all fall under this element.

Matter
An element exclusive to Final Fantasy II. It is primarily the element of instant death attacks, with the exception of the Death spell itself. Besides Death, abilities that KO or change a character's form fall under this element such as Warp, Teleport, Mini, Toad, Break as well as Swap and Stop. All Undead enemies are immune to this element.

Mind
An element exclusive to Final Fantasy II which involves manipulation of the mind, includes Sap, Sleep, Fear, Fog, Confuse, and Curse. Many status abilities in the game fall under this element.

Death
An element exclusive to Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II. It contains only one spell, Death. This limits the spell's effectiveness in battle, as enemies will often be immune to the Death element.

Comet
Comet appears as an element in Before Crisis -Final Fantasy VII-. The eponymous spell is usually a non-elemental attack in the Final Fantasy series, but the damage dealt to certain enemies through Comet and Cometeo in Before Crisis is unrelated to the damage dealt by other non-elemental attacks. Notably, the Typhon summon is Comet-elemental.

Hidden (element)
Hidden is an element exclusive to Final Fantasy VII. It does not have much of an explanation, and only applies to a handful of Enemy Attacks and Aeris's Limit Breaks. By junctioning an Elemental Materia with a regular Materia (one that does not have a normal Elemental property), Hidden elemental attacks can be absorbed.

Drain (element)
An element exclusive to Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, there are only three enemy abilities possessing this element. There is also an unused special protection related to drain, called Reverse Drain.

Axe
An element exclusive to Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Benjamin and Kaeli's axes have this element, so does Reuben's Morning Star. Useful against the tree-type, crab-type, turtle-type and worm-type monsters.

Bomb
An element exclusive to Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Benjamin's Bombs have this element. Only two type of enemies have this weakness, they are Gather-type and slime-type monsters.

Spacetime
An element exclusive to Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time.

The spells Slow and Gravity possess this element. It can be boosted by equipping the Violet Essence bonus on a piece of equipment.

Stun
An element exclusive to Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time.

The spell Quake and a Lilty's Hammer/Spoon attack possess this element. It can be boosted by equipping the Siver Essence bonus on a piece of equipment. This will increase the chance of stunning an enemy.

Other notable franchises include;

Fossil Fighters, which uses a simple elemental scheme of Air, Water, Fire, Earth, Neutral and Legendary. In the latest game, Legendary was incorporated into Neutral.

Disgaea has four, Wind, Fire, Ice and Star, last of which is non-elemental.In addition, it has six status ailments, Deprave, Drunk, Forget, Paralysis, Poison and Sleep.

Mother Series has Fire, Ice, Electric elements, as well as several non-elemental attacks that are associated with existing types in Pokémon.

Conclusion:

Vast majority of games don't go beyond three or four primary elements and a non-elemental element that exceeds them. However, for games that do have multiple elements, the primary difference between Pokémon games and them are as follows:

-In Pokémon games, Steel-type is generally composed of Pokémon with steel cloaking, whereas in most other franchises, it is composed of mechanical monsters. In addition, it is generally in the form of a Metal element, rather than Steel(that is, iron enriched with carbon, or iron ore, which is what most Steel-types are).

-Though most franchises do use Wind instead of Avian or Flying, almost all the time this element is composed of birds and dragons, save for very few exceptions. One of those would be Mystic Beast in Disgaea series.

-While there are star and cosmos related spells and skills such as Gravity, Comet and Star, most of the time these are non-elemental damage outputs, making them a substitute for a Holy element.

-Most of the time Holy element is used as a non-elemental damage output tactic. However, in the games it actually exists as an geniune element, it almost always opposes the Dark elements.

-Certain things are more common with TCG design of types, as brute force elementals are generally associated with Earth skills, which cover both Ground and Rock. And Insects, if they appear at all, are generally tied alongside wood creatures or wind creatures.

-Almost all RPGs have their set of unique statuses, some of which are exclusive to certain elements. Though Pokémon covers a lot of them, there are some it might consider adding, such as petrification for Rock-types.

-But overall, Pokémon's type scheme is actually more expansive than any other RPG game ever.
