Gen XXIV:

Console: Tentatively Nintendo Switch's sixth successor. As Switch's fate as a handheld remains dubious, I am going to put this as tentative.
Year: 2067-2068. 2067 is if Switch is released in 2017. 2068 is if Nintendo has a real successor to 3DS in 2018.
Location basis: From most likely to least likely:

Remaining European states from previous groups, since last remaining countries would be Eastern European or Muslim states, or Wales, which are more than likely never going to be in Pokémon in this lifetime.

Dex structure. Either around 65 Pokémon and 35 new forms, or a 90-100 new species. There will almost certainly going to be new means of providing de-facto evolutions, whether they are new forms or something else, as this an even generation.
New field move: Another non-elemental field move should be created, but it is hard to predict what it will be.
Less variants, more phases:At this point onward, species with existing form changes should have more forms with stat differences and moveset changes but not type differences in addition to existing ones, similar to Digimon's Modes.
Anything else?: Breeding mechanics can be further streamlined to make Day Care part of the PC, which can now be accessible through the menu. Eggs can now hatch in an incubator box or incubator item, saving up party slot. Gift species will be now be immediately given to the box, and trading will be now possible through the box, both in-game and online.
