Now, let's talk about Egg Groups:

1.Field Egg Group:

Common coverage moves obtained by this group are: Play Rough, Secret Power, Bulldoze. Formerly Mud-Slap, Sucker Punch.

Field Egg Group is the largest Egg Group in the franchise.Field Egg Group is also notable for holding Smeargle, who can theoretically learn almost any move.

2.Fairy Egg Group:

Common coverage moves obtained by this group are: Present, Bestow

Fairy Egg Group is one of the lesser Egg Groups, but it is rather varied in terms of types and body styles. Fairy Egg Group is predominantly Fairy-type, though there isn't any move that is commonly shared in that type yet.

3.Water 2 Egg Group:

Common coverage moves obtained by this group are: Bounce, Mud Shot, Muddy Water, Agility, Whirlpool

Water 2 is the smallest Egg Group in the franchise. As all species in this group are fish-based species, Bounce is the only common coverage move that is notable.

4.Grass Egg Group:

5.Human-Like Egg Group:

Common coverage moves obtained by this group are: Low Kick, Low Sweep, Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Psycho Cut,

Human-Like is a lesser Egg Group consisting predominantly of Fighting and Psychic-types. Most species in this group learn moves that require hands(punching and chopping moves) and feet(kicking and stomping moves).

6.Flying Egg Group:

7.Bug Egg Group:

See Bug-type from p1. Most Bug Egg Groups that are not Bug-type get Bug-type moves such Signal Beam, Struggle Bug, Silver Wind, X-Scissor, Fell Stinger etc.

8.Monster Egg Group:

Common coverage moves obtained by this group are: Outrage, Double-Edge

These Egg Group members are species that have Kaiju-style look to them. Most of them are relatively bulky and/or a combination of different animals. Most of them are bipedal and tailed, so they get punching and tail moves, but predominantly this Egg Group gets recoil and rampage moves.

9.Amorphous Egg Group:

Common coverage moves obtained by this group are: Clear Smog, Sludge, Sludge Bomb, Spit Up

These species are generally composed of Poison and Ghost species. They are often composed of a head and hands. Many of them are blobs, so they consume a lot.

10. Water 1 Egg Group: 

Common coverage moves obtained by this group are: Haze, Mist, Refresh, Mud Sport, Mud-Slap, Aurora Beam, Mirror Coat

Water 1 is the second largest Egg Group after Field, composed of aquatic species. Most species in this group are Water-types, but they are too generic compared to other groups.

11. Water 3 Egg Group:

Common coverage moves obtained by this group are: Ancient Power, Swift

Water 3 is composed of aquatic invertebrates, and fossils. Crabhammers are found here. This group is generally too rare like Water 3 to be important.

12. Mineral Egg Group:

Common coverage moves obtained by this group are: Rock Blast, Take Down, Spikes

Mineral Egg Group is composed of Rock, Ice and Steel-types. This group does not have much Egg Moves as most members of this group are genderless. Though who can have genders generally focus on arena hazards and dwindling opponent's HP by many turns.

13.Dragon Egg Group:
