Sandygast-Palossand: Sandygast to Palossand goes from 0.5m to 1.3 m and 70.0 kg to 250.0 kg and has 160 BST gap. While Palossand is not too strong enough to justify a pre-evo, weight and height differences are fitting enough.

Wimpod-Golisopod: Wimpod is basically the de-facto Magikarp of Gen VII, which makes an Eelektrik-like mid-evo plausible.

Crabrawler-Crabominable: Crabrawler to Crabominable goes from 0.6 m to 1.7 m and 7.0 kg to 180.0 kg. While BST gap, 140, is far too small, the differences are large enough to justify a mid-evo.

Stufful-Bewear: Stufful goes from 0.5 m to 2.1 m and 6.8 kg to 135.0 kg. While BST gap is not large enough, the weight and height differences are enough to justify a mid-evo.

Dewpider-Araquanid: Dewpider goes from 0.3 m to 1.8 m and 4.0 kg to 82.0 kg and has 185 BST gap. Gaps are large enough to justify a mid-evo, though Araquanid is not powerful enough, it is large and heavy enough.
