The recent news about Clemont potentially getting a Luxio has sparked a small discussion on Serebiiforums about a potential Mega Luxray. I argued that since Luxio is only available in Friend Safari, and since post-E4 Pokémon tend to end up as part of the national dex, it will probably end up as a Mega for the next Kalos games.
Of course, I also argued previously that the amount of the post-E4 Pokémon is roughly enough to have an entire new dex out of, with potentially a starter trio thrown into mix alongside to more Pokémon if you count in fossils.
So, this made me wonder, what if the post-E4 Pokémon are planned to have Megas? While I doubt the focus will be intentionally on the new Southern Kalos dex, the problem is, there is only so few Gen VI Pokémon they can give Megas to, because there are so few fully evolved Gen VI Pokémon(like, around 30). So the focus has to be on the newcomers somehow.
